The Zagros Center for Human Rights expresses deep concern over the alarming escalation of executions targeting Kurdish and Baluch prisoners in Iran.<\/span> These executions, carried out within a context of systematic political repression, occur as the Islamic Republic of Iran appears to exploit the international community’s silence and diplomatic engagements to pursue a policy of targeted terror.<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

Recent Executions<\/h3>\n

Between April 8 and April 15, 2025, at least 21 Baluch prisoners<\/strong> were executed in prisons across Mashhad (Vakilabad), Zahedan, Gonabad, Shahroud, Kerman, Bandar Abbas, and Iranshahr.<\/span> The identified individuals are:\u200b<\/p>\n

    Additionally, Hamid Hosseinnejad Heydaranlu<\/strong>, a 39-year-old Kurdish political prisoner and father of three, was secretly executed on April 21, 2025, following an unfair trial marked by forced confessions obtained under torture and a complete lack of procedural safeguards.<\/span> \u200b<\/p>\n

    Prisoners at Imminent Risk of Execution<\/h3>\n

    Several Kurdish and Baluch prisoners face immediate execution:<\/p>\n
